Always remembered

I will always remember you. I miss you terribly. I know you are in a better place now and you feel no pain, but I can’t help but feel the emptiness from the hole in my heart that was created when you left. I remember the first time we met. I held you in one hand. I remember your first bath. I remember the way you used to enjoy playing. You were such a kind and gentle soul. Never one to complain but I could tell you were in pain. I am glad your pain is gone but I miss you terribly. You will never be replaced, you cannot be. You were one of a kind. You were my big baby boy. Rest easy sir Isaac, I look forward to the day when I can see you again.
